OUR VISION

The pursuit of excellence in legal education ensuring the highest standards of academic quality while integrating creativity, innovation and interdisciplinarity in teaching and research; and keeping the holistic development of our youth at the focus of all programmes.

The Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur shares the national vision of making quality the defining element of higher education in India. It is envisaged that the University will engage not only in its primary task of imparting education in Law to students from Rajasthan and outside, but will also undertake rigorous research programmes and other varied innovative extension activities in the academic arena. All its extension activities will be aimed at raising legal awareness, promoting human rights and fostering inclusion in society. As the primary affiliating body for all law colleges in Rajasthan, it is to play a leading role in the pursuit of excellence in legal education and research in the region. The overall vision is to make the University a centre for the academic activity that will also contribute to the development of the state and the nation.

OUR MISSION
The core mission of the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur is to impart comprehensive legal education and, at the same time, to inculcate both professional dynamism and legal acumen within the students. Its objective is also to provide legal education which draws from a wide variety of interdisciplinary fields so that it is not just restricted to any one knowledge source. The University strives to achieve these twin objectives and is in the incessant process of upgrading, updating and replenishing its curriculum and activities so as to achieve world-class standards in legal education. The mission includes efforts to create modern infrastructural facilities and provide students in with a stimulating learning environment.

The University is committed to imparting state of the art legal education with a strong foregrounding of human values, capable of coping effectively with the numerous paradigm shifts in the globalized world. In today's globalized network of interactions which permeate every aspect of civilization, educational institutions are under an obligation to develop such patterns and perspectives that can meet the needs and expectations of the present and also of the coming generations. Keeping this canon in mind the University emphasizes the interdisciplinary aspects of knowledge, and it is ensured that all courses focus on new concepts and emerging trends in the area of academics and research. Understanding this pressing need and adhering to its demands, the effort is made to keep all programmes responsive and flexible with self-motivated checks and balances, which is reflected in the curricula, teaching, research, extension activities, human resource management, feedback mechanisms and programmes for the holistic development of the students.

The University undertakes and promotes academic research programmes ensuring the highest standards of research quality and ethics. It promotes national and international research conferences, seminars, symposia for the presentation of research work. It also encourages research publication following the highest established and internationally recognized standards of publication. It promotes innovation and creativity in research, contributing to social engineering and reform, and culminating in national development.

The University recognizes the importance of all-round character and personality development of students, of personal growth-both mental and physical, and therefore, strives to ensure that sufficient infrastructure and opportunities are available for the students in this regard. Apart from providing an enriching experience in the classroom, various cultural and sports activities are organized and promoted with a dedication to capacity building and overall personality development of the youth.

The University undertakes innovative extension activities in order to raise standards of legal awareness, promote human rights and foster inclusion in society. It engages with all stakeholders and civic society, both governmental and non-governmental agencies, in active dialogue and multifaceted partnerships for numerous social development activities.
